Gerald Donaldson, a senior research director for Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety noted that rural roads are six to eight times more dangerous than an interstate.

Survey Names Charleston Most Accident-Prone City

Men’s Health magazine named Charleston, West Virginia the most accident-prone city in America.  In the current issue, Charleston placed 100th out of 100 cities studied for the survey.  The Charleston Gazette ran an article about the ranking here.
