A West Virginia resident was injured in an accident on Wednesday on Route 41 near Prince, West Virginia.  A Harley Davidson rider lost control while trying to make a turn, according to the Register-Herald.  The driver was flown to Charleston Memorial Hospital following the accident.  The story is here.

Police believe that alcohol and speed were the primary causes of a single vehicle accident outside of Beckley on Tuesday night.  A suspect was driving a vehicle southbound on WV 16 when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole.  The accident caused a power outage to several hundred customers.  The Register-Herald [...]

The West Virginia State Police released the names of the victims killed in a car accident on May 4, 2009 on the West Virginia Turnpike.  Two North Carolina residents, Nathanial George, 27, and Brian Miller, 25, were killed in the accident.  The Register-Herald carried a story about the accident here.

A collision on the West Virginia Turnpike on Sunday afternoon killed two people and injured two others.  The accident occurred in Mercer County.  According to a story in the Register-Herald, a southbound Acura lost control, drifted into the northbound lanes, and was struck by a Saturn driving in the opposite direction.  The story is here.
