The Charleston Gazette reported that a man was killed at a Charleston WV hotel in what is believed to be a carbon monoxide leak. Another person was also critically injured as a result of the leak. The incident occurred at the Holiday Inn Express on Corridor G.
According to the newspaper report, the men were construction workers staying at the hotel and the man that was killed was from Rhode Island. Three people were transported to area hospitals on Tuesday morning. Late run the day, a number of the construction crew workers complained of feeling ill later in the day and were taken to a hospital.
