Following law school, Thomas started working as an assistant prosecutor in Charleston, West Virginia. He later worked in insurance defense and plaintiff’s law firms in both West Virginia and California before starting Rist Law Offies. He has a passion for helping to protect the rights of West Virginians. His work in crime victim advocacy is unique to the State of West Virginia and has made a positive difference in the lives of rape victims, shooting victims, and their families.
