Three pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in Morgantown on Sunday morning around 2:00 a.m.  The accident occurred at the intersection of Fayette and High Streets in downtown Morgantown.  Witnesses identified a dark-colored SUV which they believe ran a red light just before the hit-and-run.  Two of the victims were transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital. WSAZ News reported yesterday that a pedestrian was struck by a car and killed on Monday between Danville and Madison.  The police reported that the pedestrian was trying to cross Route 119.

West Virginia Metro News reported today that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a drunk driver around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.  The story is here.  The driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with DUI causing death.  The accident occurred at the intersection of Don Knotts Boulevard and Dorsey Avenue.

The Charleston Gazette reported yesterday that a pedestrian was killed in Jefferson, West Virginia after being struck by a vehicle.  The article is here.  The police are on the lookout for a 1996 or later Jeep Wrangler.
